Fargo man dies in UTV rollover in Jamestown — Horace Community news

JAMESTOWN — A 35-year-old Fargo man died on Wednesday, Oct. 21, after the UTV he was driving rolled and landed partially on him, according to the Stutsman County Sheriff's Office. The Sheriff's Office said in a news release that the UTV was found in the upper camping recreational area at Pelican Point Campground in Jamestown. The Sheriff's Office said at about 8:45 p.m. Wednesday, Trevor Doering was driving the UTV that tried to go around the back side of a camper, and the UTV rolled down a hill. The Sheriff's Office said Doering, who was pronounced dead at the scene, was found partially ejected out of the driver's door window with the UTV partially on him. Matthew High, 39, Babbitt, Minnesota, a passenger in the UTV, was able to get out of the UTV and call for help. The Sheriff's Office said no seat belts were worn and alcohol may have been a factor. The Sheriff's Office is investigating the crash.]]>
