Why is Anthony Edwards having his injury fixed now? — Horace Arts news

The Timberwolves have regularly done imaging on Anthony Edwards knees, team basketball boss Tim Connelly noted on Wednesday. The guard battled runner s knee in his right knee last season, and he suffered a bone bruise in his left knee during the playoffs. His health is something the club monitors closely. But Edwards noted his right knee felt slightly different following his 47-point performance in an overtime loss to Cleveland on Monday, which sparked another round of tests. Edwards reportedly tweaked the knee in Minnesota s season-opening win over Miami. Connelly acknowledged there were times you could see Edwards laboring with the knee, but it never affected his production. He had a great summer, Connelly said. He had a great preseason, and he has had a great first four games of the season. But the result of the most recent imaging, Connelly noted, was different. It was different than previous images, and showed an issue that we want to get addressed
